The Alder Residence

A warm contemporary home shaped by natural materials, soft contrasts, and the quiet beauty of everyday living.

Project Overview

A Home With Room to Breathe.

The brief called for a home that felt open, welcoming, and connected from room to room. Our design approach focused on clarifying the layout, introducing a cohesive material palette, and creating a balance between visual simplicity and everyday comfort.

Natural oak, pale stone, tactile fabrics, and carefully selected lighting establish a warm foundation without overwhelming the architecture.

Understanding the Space.

The goal was to create a calm, functional interior that could adapt to daily routines while feeling cohesive and personal. The design needed to balance open shared areas with quieter moments of retreat.
